Charlie Sheen investigated by LAPD for 'making threats to an unnamed victim'

LAPD Officer Mike Lopez said he could not identify the alleged target of any threats, but officers visited Sheen's home March 31 as part of a criminal probe, he said. They have also served a search warrant in connection with the investigation, he said.

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's "threat management" squad have opened a criminal investigation of actor Charlie Sheen, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.

According to the document, Scottine didn't report the incidents as she "feared for her safety and was under Sheen's control".

Rossi claims Sheen did not tell her, and at least one other person, actress Bree Olson, has said she was not informed, either.

You may recall, last December, Ross filed a personal injury lawsuit against Sheen, accusing him of assault and battery, false imprisonment and negligence during the course of their year-long relationship.

On Tuesday, Los Angeles police served a search warrant for the headquarters of American Media, the parent company of RadarOnline and the National Enquirer. Ring, of the Los Angeles firm Taylor & Ring, also added that even though it is not a fact that Sheen was talking about Ross, she is certainly not taking the threats lightly. Porn star, Ross, is also suing him for having sex with her without disclosing that he is HIV positive.

On Thursday, the publications - neither of which have published the audio alleged to contain the star saying he would like to see a former fiancee "have her head kicked in" - refused to hand over the material to police. Radar said the victim listed on the warrant is "Scottie Ross, aka Brett Rossi". "She intends to do everything she can to protect herself". Upon seeing the article based on the recording, Ross - who sometimes goes by the name of Brett Rossi - made a decision to contact police.

"Family of gangsters. You get it. I can't be f****** extorted". And: "Ross stated that she witnessed Sheen threatened to kill his former wife Denise Richards and their children's lives".

Actor Charlie Sheen arrives for the premiere of Dimension Films" "Scary Movie 5′ at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on April 11, 2013 in Hollywood, California.
