According to ESPN Las Vegas, Manziel was indeed in Vegas this weekend, but wasn't looking like himself. Manziel, who is the league's concussion protocol, was scheduled to meet with team doctors at 9:30 a.m. Sunday but never showed up.

It is likely that Johnny Manziel has played his last down for the Cleveland Browns.

According to ESPN Las Vegas radio host Mitch Moss, Manziel dined, gambled and generally made merry in Vegas while wearing a blonde wig and introducing himself as "Billy". In Manziel's defense, he posted an Instagram photo with the location as Ohio.

"He's his own man", Shelton told The Plain Dealer.

"That will be completely their call", Haslam said of the front office's dealings with Manziel.

"He's been doing a lot of studying of other organizations that have had success and try to figure out what's going to work for the Cleveland Browns", Thomas said.

Haslam seemed as mystified as anyone about Manziel's disappearance, saying he didn't know why he missed a scheduled treatment at the team facility.

Where in the world was Johnny Manziel?

Manziel had been downgraded to out in the days before Sunday's game due to a concussion suffered the week before against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Haslam, who addressed the players Monday along with new executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown, was noncommittal about Manziel when asked if he wants him on the team next year. Or do you think that Johnny's time is up?

"As with most millennials, Manziel attempted to plead his innocence via social media - snapping a pick with his dog with the caption "#SaturdayNights" and geotagging Avon, OH.

The only sad thing about Manziel not being able to speak to reporters is he'd probably say something about his whereabouts that would further the Manziel talk.

Haslam was non-committal about Manziel's future with the team on Sunday, deferring any of those decisions to Brown, his next coach and GM.
